Welcome to Ocean Photo Bonaire!

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our photography services. By accessing or using our website and booking our services, you accept and agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

 

1. Participant Responsibility:

Participants engaging in our underwater photography services need to be aware that it involves an in-water activity. Therefore, participants are required to have the ability to swim and be comfortable in the water. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure their own safety during the photoshoot and follow any instructions provided by our professional photographer.

 

2. Booking and Payment:

To secure a booking with Ocean Photo Bonaire, payment is required. The payment should be made by bank transfer within 14 days after making the booking. The booking will be considered confirmed once the payment has been received. Failure to make the payment within the specified timeframe may result in the cancellation of the booking.

 

3. Cancellation Policy:

We understand that circumstances may change, and cancellations may be necessary. In the event of cancellation between 7 and 14 days before the scheduled booking, a 50% refund will be provided, or the booking can be rescheduled to another date, within 6 months of the original booking. However, if the cancellation occurs within 7 days of the scheduled booking, no refund or rescheduling will be issued.

 

4. Liability:

While we take utmost care to ensure the safety and security of our participants, Ocean Photo Bonaire, nor Sietske van Hienen Diving & Photography, shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or theft that may occur during the photoshoots or activities. Participants engage in our services at their own risk and are advised to secure their personal belongings accordingly.

 

5. Intellectual Property:

All photographs and related materials produced during the photoshoots remain the intellectual property of Ocean Photo Bonaire. Participants may receive digital copies of the photographs for personal use only and are not allowed to reproduce, distribute, or use them for commercial purposes without obtaining written permission from Ocean Photo Bonaire.

6. Weather conditions:

Participants engaging in our activities and photography services need to be aware that weather conditions can impact the quality photography. While we strive to provide the best experience possible, we have no control over weather conditions. In the event that we need to cancel a photoshoot due to storm, we will offer rescheduling or a full refund. Please note that we are not responsible for underwater photos that may appear less clear due to poor visibility caused by weather conditions.

7. Delivery Time:

We understand the excitement of receiving your underwater photos. Our goal is to send you a selection of preliminary photos within 7 days after the photoshoot. Please keep in mind that the end results, which may include post-processing and editing, can take up to 14 days from the date of the photoshoot.

 

8. Amendments:

Ocean Photo Bonaire reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of participants to review these terms periodically for any updates or changes.
